Before and after: What a difference 2 years makes!!
I'm still sorting through the Holy Land pictures to complete my posts about that trip, but I HAD to post about this. I think I'll just let you see it. You know how Facebook shows up "memories" from some number of years ago? Well, yesterday It showed me a picture of me with some girlfriends in Oregon 2 years ago for a race. Compare that to this picture of me outside the opera house in Madrid 2 weeks ago for a race with my new running girls. Physically, this was a "come-to-Jesus" moment. A la Scarlett O'Hara, I said to myself, "As God as my witness I will never let myself get to that point again". It may be the jeans or the shoes or the sun in my eyes, but this is my newest motivation picture. Oh my gosh, I am going to keep exercising!
